About Us
Impact Investing Burkina Faso (IIBF) is the national partner of GSG Impact in Burkina Faso. IIBF works to transform financial systems so that every investment, business, and public spending decision fully integrates social and environmental impact, alongside risk and return.
IIBF is an independent, private sector-led initiative that aims to promote sustainable development and structure the impact investing ecosystem in Burkina Faso.
We operate by facilitating close and innovative collaboration among key players in the ecosystem. As an inclusive national platform, IIBF brings together all the stakeholders needed to direct capital flows toward initiatives with a strong social and environmental impact. This includes actors from finance, the private sector, government, civil society, and philanthropy.
IIBF has a strong ambition: to support the growth of impact businesses and initiatives, strengthen the national ecosystem and catalyze significant funding for impact projects in Burkina Faso and the West African sub-region.
IIBF responds to the social and environmental challenges of Burkina Faso by promoting innovation, mobilizing public and private actors and directing capital towards impact investments in the service of sustainable development.
